Popular Science has named Google Now the innovation of the year.
Google Now runs on the latest Android phones and basically gives you information when you need it, before you have to search for it.
Right now it’s not widespread enough to make much of a difference to local marketing, but it’s going to have a big impact in the future. Mobile marketing has exploded in importance overseas and is going to become a major focus in New Zealand in the coming years.
